About the Event
he At Home with the Seasons workshop will inspire, encourage and equip you to support people living with dementia and their family carers to connect with the seasons, both at home, and close to home. The workshop will provide an opportunity to consider not only the natural seasons, but the seasons of our lives. Wherever you live, in the countryside, suburbs, or city, our workshop encourages you to engage your senses and connect with the natural world.
The workshops will be facilitated by Marie Fortune, certified Life Coach, Creative Leader, Theatre Director, Writer, Actor and Puppeteer.
Marie is especially drawn to projects based on true stories and lived experiences that help to raise awareness and create conversations. She is Co-Artistic Director of @Foan & Fortune Theatre Company’ and Director in Residence for ‘Pluto Play Productions’. Marie volunteers with ‘AgeUK’ and is a proud trustee of ‘Arts 4 Dementia’.
