‘Communication and Interaction with Individuals who have Dementia’

Aim:

This training provides the underpinning knowledge required to develop awareness of differing communication needs and abilities of individuals with dementia in order to enhance positive interaction.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand the factors that can influence communication and interaction with individuals who have dementia
• Understand how to interpret the communication of individuals with dementia
• Understand how to communicate positively and effectively with individuals who have dementia.

This course will be delieverd via two webinars, on 11th and 18th January 2024, starting at 9.30am and finishing at 12.00pm.
