‘The Person-Centred Approach to Dementia Care’
(Ofqual Unit Ref No: F/617/5006)
The aim of the training is to enable learners to gain knowledge and understanding required to enable the individual with dementia to experience wellbeing. Learners will be able to develop their knowledge of the person-centred approach to dementia care and support.
Learning Outcomes:
· Understand approaches that enable individuals with dementia to experience wellbeing.
· Understand the role and needs of carers of individuals with dementia.
