‘Understand the Diversity of Individuals with Dementia’

The training covers the concepts of equality, diversity and inclusion that are fundamental to person-centred care practice.
Learning Outcomes:
•Understand the concept of diversity and its relevance to working with individuals who have dementia.
•Understand that each individual’s experience of dementia is unique.
•Understand the importance of a rights-based approach to dementia.
This course will be delieverd via two webinars, starting at 9.30am and finishing at 12.00pm.
These webinars can be attended by learners who would like to access this learning opportunity as stand-alone workshops and also by those who would like to undertake the ‘Award in Awareness of Dementia’ OCNLR Level 2 or 3 qualification.
