'Understand the Process and Experience of Dementia’

Aim:

The aim of the training is to enable learners to gain the knowledge of the neurology of dementia to support the understanding of how individuals may experience dementia.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand the neurology of dementia
• Understand factors that can cause changes in an individual’s condition that may not be attributable to dementia
• Understand the impact of recognition and diagnosis of dementia
• Understand how dementia care must be underpinned by a person centred-approach.

This course will be delieverd via two webinars, on 14th and 21st March 2024, starting at 9.30am and finishing at 12.00pm.
