About the Event

FREE one hour sessions, hosted weekly live on zoom at 11.00am

We  are offering this new programme of creative activities with Craig who  is an activity and engagement specialist with 13 years’ experience.

Sessions  are designed to engage the whole person mentally, physically,  emotionally and socially. We use a mixture of music, sing-a-longs,  appropriate quizzes, poetry, comedy, reminiscence, learning and  discussion as well as energising physical stimulation in the form of big  balloon games, percussion, feather conducting and creative movement. It  really is the complete package of stimulation, fun and laughter. Some  sessions are themed.

“Engaging Activities” with Craig  and Ruth promotes a positive reaction in our clients, which in the long  and short term, benefits their wellbeing,  the interactive and  stimulating  nature of the session brings fun and mood enhancement to  their day. We find the ‘variety hour’ brings with it, lots of enjoyment  as it includes music, dance, reminiscence,  quiz, poetry and much more."

Craig has delivered thousands of interactive and  therapeutic activity sessions in various care settings. He is an  accomplished trainer and coach and has co-produced training courses and  best practice guides which have been recognised for national awards. He  has spoken at many regional and national events and has been a judge at  national care awards.

Craig is passionate about working  with individuals and organisations for the reform, enhancement and  advancement of good practice in activity and wellbeing in health and  social care and exploring new paradigms for care.
